Taylor’s Schools acquired AISM
Taylor’s Schools took over a school in Singapore and founded Nexus International School Singapore.
The Taylor’s International School brand was founded in 2014 when Sri Garden was rebranded under that name.
A second school, TIS Puchong was set up a year later.
Nexus International School Singapore grew significantly after it was started in 2011. In 2015, Taylor’s Schools won the RFI (Request for Interest) from the Singapore government to relocate Nexus Singapore from Ulu Pandan to Aljunied, its new home since January 2020.
Obtaining the RFI was a great achievement for Taylor’s Schools as many of the world’s best education institution were competing for it.
One of the main success factors for Nexus Singapore is the emphasis in incorporating technology into the school’s teaching and learning and being forward-thinking.
Each school provides different curricula and different styles of teaching and learning, at different price points. Such an offering allows a variety of choices to parents on what best suits their children, which is in line with our aim of making education assessible to all.
Today, there are up to 6,600 learners enrolled in our schools, and the numbers increase every year.
As our learner population grows, so have our campuses. We constantly upgrade our schools’ infrastructure to provide our learners with state-of-the-art facilities and a conducive environment for learning.
TISPC, a purpose-built school, won the FIABCI Malaysia Property Award 2017. Designed to stimulate and open the mind to possibilities, it is the first international school to receive this prestigious award.
