ANNOUNCEMENT

Taylor’s Schools Accelerates Growth With Minority Investment

We are pleased to announce that global investment firm KKR, will be investing in a minority stake in Taylor’s Schools, in line with Taylor’s Schools’ aspirations for growth and regional expansion.

KKR is a leading global investment firm that offers alternative asset management and capital markets and insurance solutions. The firm was founded in 1976, and as a relationship-driven institution, is deeply committed to building and sustaining long-term partnerships grounded in trust and transparency, and supporting growth in its portfolio companies and communities. KKR has had significant experience in the education sector over the decades.

As noted by our Executive Chairman, Dato’ Loy Teik Ngan: “KKR will complement our strength in education operations with their regional network, expertise in mergers & acquisitions, as well as their access to capital.”

The current shareholders will remain as the controlling shareholders of Taylor’s Schools and the current management team will continue to lead our purpose in providing premier K-12 international education.

This exercise for regional expansion and equity fundraising will not have any impact on the day-to-day operations and functions of all our schools. We remain committed to providing the best quality international educational experience for our students and are confident that this exercise will lead to a stronger platform for Taylor’s Schools in the region.

Operational and academic improvements are constantly pursued throughout all the schools and development improvements for existing schools will carry on as planned.

We thank you for your support and look forward to having you as part of the Taylor’s Schools’ growing family.
